I Am An Instrument wants to experience something different and special every time they perform and in turn share that moment with the audience. The band is known for playing 100% improvised music. Garnering a large fan base in 2023 with over 199.000 monthly listeners on Spotify the band looks forward to the future with bright eyes.

I Am An Instrument consists of Steven Jess Borth II aka CHLLNGR on synth, tenor sax and guitar, Stunn Gunn on the drums, Eliel Lazo on percussion, Jonathan Bremer on electric bass and stand up bass, Johannes Wamberg on guitar and Morten McCoy on piano, Wurlitzer and Synth.

On this release they are also joined by Tobias Elof on ukulele. So far the band has released Vol.1, 2 and 3 and "We Are All Here For It" is the first release on the new imprint ÅND&, co curated and run by CHLLNGR and Walshy Fire from Major Lazer. Gilles Peterson has given the band support by premiering the 12 minute long track “part 1” on his BBC6 Music radio show. He has also given plays to the on worldwide FM. They have had hundreds of plays on Danish National Radio station Jazz P8 and have also gotten support from Joe Kay from Soulection on his Radio Show. For every release there is a corresponding film that accompanies it.
